Vicki Tschirhart is a research scientist at the Geological Survey of Canada with over a decade of experience. She earned her PhD in Applied Geophysics from McMaster University and specializes in integrated interpretations of geophysical and geological datasets to solve complex 3D problems related to crustal structure and mineral potential. Vicki is currently co-leading the Critical Minerals Geoscience and Data Initiative, which is designed to accelerate responsible critical mineral development through cutting-edge research on domestic sources, novel applications of advanced analytics and predictive modelling. She is actively involved in professional organizations and serves as the President of the Next Generation Explorers Award (NGEA) Association, where she promotes the development of the next generation of geoscientists.
