The Media Partnership application for PDAC 2026 is now open, from June 17 to August 26, 2025.

The Media Partnership is a barter marketing exchange program between qualified print and digital media outlets and the PDAC. No money will be exchanged in the partnership.

In exchange for advertising in Media Partner printed, digital, televised publications/shows, and podcasts (primarily between October and March each year), PDAC will provide the following to approved Media Partners, depending on the level of exposure given to PDAC:

  • Logo and link on PDAC convention website
  • Media Partner name listed in the digital PDAC Preliminary Program
  • Media Partner logo listed on Media Partner on-site signage in the North and South buildings
  • Digital publication distribution opportunities onsite during the convention: Returning partners will have the first right of refusal due to limited spots. Media Partners must provide a publication image and link that will be displayed at the two Digital Publication Stations with a QR code (created by PDAC) linking to the partner's digital publication. The partner must supply a URL that does not require users to subscribe or log in to access the publication. New for 2026: One station will remain in the South building, with an additional station in the North building.
  • Media Stage opportunities (limited number of stages available): Returning partners will have the first right of refusal. Media Partner will be provided a stage in the South building of the MTCC for filming purposes, which they must set up and staff as needed. Partners must have staff present for the full duration of the convention.
  • Table Top opportunities (limited number of tables available): Returning partners will have the first right of refusal. Media Partners display materials during the convention at a table provided by PDAC on Level 800 of the South building. Staff must be present at the table for the full duration of the convention.
  • New! Podcast opportunities (limited number available): Media Partners will be given space in the Podcast Hub, located in Trade Show North, during pre-arranged times to record live podcasts each day.
  • Convention Crosscut E-Newsletter: A thank you to Media Partners will be included in three (3) of PDAC's Convention e-newsletters (distribution 43,000+), including a link to the web page displaying all Media Partner logos on the convention website.
  • Social media: A thank you to Media Partners will be distributed on PDAC's social media channels, accompanied by a link to the Media Partners web page on the convention website.
  • PDAC press releases will be provided to partners for distribution or to assist with the writing of articles
  • Opportunities to interview the PDAC President, upon request
  • Each partner will be provided with an official PDAC Media Partner icon for their use

Media Partners provide some or all of the following items (if applicable):

  • Placement of PDAC-provided web banners on their website with a link to PDAC’s convention website
  • Placement of PDAC-provided web banners in Media Partner e-newsletters
  • Print advertisements in publications (full page, colour)
  • Digital online advertisements
  • Promote PDAC via social media channels
  • Publish pre and/or post-show articles (press releases will be available to assist with editorial)

After the closing of the application process, PDAC will provide an agreement to applicants who have been approved for partnership. Once this agreement is approved by both parties, the PDAC will distribute the Media Partner icon and artwork. The Media Partner is to provide their logo (high resolution), which will be uploaded to the website upon signing of the agreement.
