Thank you for your interest in volunteering at PDAC 2026. 

Those selected as volunteers will serve as Convention Ambassadors. They will receive a complimentary All Access Pass to the convention on March 1-4, 2026. The All Access Pass includes admission to all exhibits and programming, and most networking events (exception is a select few special ticketed/invite only events). In addition, you will receive volunteer apparel, two food vouchers (for your lunches during your shifts), a $25 gift card and a volunteer certificate.

Selected volunteers will receive an email confirmation with their scheduled orientation and shifts beginning in early January, or within two weeks if application is submitted in January or February.

Orientation Availability

In order to volunteer, you must agree to be available for a 2 hour orientation session (at the time indicated below) at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre

Shift Availability

In order to volunteer, you must agree to be available for a two (2) shifts of 4 (four) hours each (at the times indicated below), at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre

When choosing your shift availability, please keep in mind the following Student and Early Career Program events you may wish to attend. Please note that you cannot attend the event(s) if you are scheduled for a shift at the same time:


  1. Convention Kickstart: Sunday, March 1: 2–3:30 pm
  2. PDAC-CIM Toronto Branch Guided Tours of the Trade Show and Investors Exchange:
    • Sunday March 1: 3:30–4:30 p.m.
    • Monday March 2: 10:30–11:30 a.m. & 3:30–4:30 p.m.
    • Tuesday March 3: 10:30 –11:30 a.m.
  3. Next Generation Explorers Award Challenge: Monday March 2: 2–4 p.m.
  4. Student-Industry Mixer: Tuesday March 3: 1:30–3:30 p.m.
    • Volunteers working during the Student-Industry Mixer are scheduled to attend this event for one hour
  5. PDAC-SEG Student Minerals Colloquium Awards: Tuesday, March 3, 3:30–5 p.m.
