Chajan Ganeswaran is the Technical Lead for the Scandium Project at Rio Tinto Iron and Titanium (RTIT), based in Sorel-Tracy, Quebec.
In his current role, he leads the quality and process control, sales expedition, reactants optimisation and scale up of scandium extraction and purification plant sections, supervising the project from a demonstration phase to full industrialization.
Prior to his current role, Chajan gained extensive experience in powder metallurgy and titanium slag purification as a process engineer within Rio Tinto operations. Chajan holds a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and molecular medicine and chemical engineering.
