Cindy Valence has over 20 years of management experience and is a co-founder and partner at ethos strategie. For more than ten years, she has held strategic roles at the heart of the mining industry, giving her a keen understanding of the ecosystem and an ability to effectively position organizations in an ever-changing geopolitical, economic, and societal context. Her dynamism, rigor, and expertise in business development enable her to mobilize stakeholders around common goals, promoting sustainable development and the creation of shared value. Cindy is a lecturer at the Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue (UQAT), where she teaches a graduate-level course on mining project development processes. There, she shares her strategic and field expertise and contributes to the evolution of responsible management practices in the mining sector. In addition, her knowledge of energy transition and her proximity to Indigenous communities make her a key asset in the implementation of responsible and sustainable projects. With extensive international experience, she collaborates with economic actors, investors, and institutional partners in Quebec and abroad. She sits on the board of directors of Radisson Mining Resources and has contributed to several boards, including Women In Mining Abitibi and Propulsion Québec, the electric and smart transportation cluster. Cindy holds an MBA in applied management in the mineral industry, is a certified professional in international trade (PACI) and a corporate director (ASC, C.Dir). She is fluent in French and English.
