Sharon Lowe

Sharon has over 30 years’ of experience in exploration, research, and development projects. She has worked on mineral exploration projects for gold, diamonds, IOCGs, iron ore, porphyry and epithermal copper/gold, mineral sands, coal, REEs, groundwater and regional mapping in Australia, Indonesia, Africa, Brazil and New Zealand. She has also been involved in petroleum and helium exploration projects located in Papua New Guinea, Tanzania, USA and Australia. The work has included modelling, depth to magnetic source analysis, interpretation and target generation using potential field, seismic, electromagnetic, ambient noise tomography and radiometric techniques. Her special interest is in airborne gravity gradiometry survey planning and interpretation. She has co-presented short courses on potential field techniques for the last 7 years.
