Karen Gilgallon

Karen is a is currently a Senior Principal Geophysicist at Southern Geoscience Consultant geophysicist with over 20 years’ experience in geophysical exploration. She has experience in a variety of geophysical methods and geological environments. Karen specialises in airborne electromagnetics interpretation for both minerals and groundwater exploration. Karen has consulted to companies on geophysical exploration for base metals, gold, iron ore, manganese, REEs, uranium, and petroleum in Australia, Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, and South America. This has included survey planning and management, data processing, interpretation and target generation using electrical and electromagnetic potential field techniques in the air, at surface and downhole. Karen has undertaken geophysical field work and supervision in Australia, Africa and the Pacific.
