20 Minute Mentoring

Share your knowledge and experience with students and recent graduates who are excited to learn more about career opportunities in the mineral industry. 

20 Minute Mentoring is designed to connect industry professionals with a student/early career individual for a one-time 20-minute meeting. Mentors can provide career guidance and direction to mentees on their educational and professional careers. 

Meetings will take place from Sunday, March 2 - Wednesday, March 5.

We are looking for volunteers from all areas of the exploration and mining industry to participate! Please be prepared to share your experiences and answer questions about yourself and your career. These important conversations have a tremendous impact on the trajectory of students' careers in our industry. The time commitment is just one hour, and you may sign up for multiple sessions. 

Mentor Requirements:

• Mentors must sign up for 1 hour blocks (1 hour = 2 mentee meetings). Please book on the hour, for the hour (ex. 1:00 pm-2:00 pm, do not book 1:30 pm-2:30 pm as that will leave 30  minute segments unbookable for other mentors)
• Mentors must be registered attendees for PDAC 2025 to participate in 20 Minute Mentoring
• Mentors will be asked to create an account in AllBooked. View the Privacy Policy. All data will be purged after the event.

Upon booking your timeslot, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions to submit your bio that will be available for students to review when signing up for their 20 Minute Mentoring Sessions.
