Native American Affairs Program Manager, Nevada Gold Mines
Elko, Nevada, United States

I started my professional cultural, land, and natural resources career in 1995 with the U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in Elko, Nevada, in the Wildland Fire Program. Since that time, I had risen throughout the ranks within the BLM and the U.S. Forest Service. I've been in federal public service with the following titles and associated duties: Fire Engine Captain, Tribal Liaison, Assistant Field Manager, Field Manager, Vegetation Management Staff Officer, and District Manager. After nearly 28 years of federal service, I entered the mining industry with Nevada Gold Mines and currently serve as the Native American Affairs Program Manager. Throughout all stages of public service, I've led or been part of leadership teams who have built and implemented successful tribal programs, primarily in project permitting, mitigation, tribal consultation, partnerships, and agreements.
