Laurent Roy

Laurent works as an Engineer at the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) since 2021. He holds a bachelor's degree in geological engineering from Laval University and acts as an expert analyst at the AMF, mainly within the Supervision of issuers and insiders’ division where he analyses and regulates the technical and scientific information disclosed by mining issuers. Laurent has more than 12 years of experience in the mining sector, including executing and planning mineral exploration programs, geological modelisation, metallogeny and preparing technical reports on mineral projects. Laurent is also a registered professional engineer with Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
